When we choose white or black, left or right, day or night, we will be struggling with our thoughts, more precisely the way we think.

In this book, we will learn and gain knowledge about how to think or what is called a mindset.

Dweck in this book explains two main types of mindsets, namely: fixed mindset and growth mindset. The question is what is a fixed and growth mindset?

Dweck explains that a fixed mindset means that essential things such as intelligence, talent, and ability are something that is fixed and cannot be changed.

On the other hand, a growth mindset believes that these fundamental things can be developed through effort, the right strategy, learning from experience, and failure can be a medium for growth.

In the book, we as readers will be presented with a very detailed implementation of the explanation.

Dweck in this book divides its implementation into several aspects such as; education, sports, business and leadership, personal relationships, the role of parents, teachers and coaches, and self-change.

This book has one significant advantage, namely that it is relevant across fields, meaning that this book is not limited to academics, but can also be included in the fields of sports, business, relationships, and even parenting.

However, behind the advantages of this book, there are disadvantages, such as not going into depth on social issues, the examples taken are too many or dominated by America, making it somewhat less relevant for readers in various regions, countries, and cultures.

However, this book is very suitable for our self-development, as a form of advice I highly recommend this book to: students and students, teachers and educators, parents, and leaders of both government and private institutions.
